  This is a new spot for me. I happened to be driving by during rush hour and decided to pull over and eat lunch instead of sit in traffic. First I'd like to say that even though the outside looked a little old and run down, the inside is very clean and welcoming. Every salt and pepper, table, napkin holder etc looked clean and tidy which is one of those things that makes me feel really good about eating in a new place. The lady behind the counter, Nichole, was a sweetheart. She was patient with me being new, knew the menu very well, even gave me some pointers on another sauce to try, told me all about the specials and her favorites.  She made the experience amazing. As far as the food goes, the bread was very soft and tasty, the meat was moist. The au jus was not really that good and seemed very watery. Not sure if that's just a personal preference or if it wasn't made right. Okay the potato salad and the BBQ sauce were both AMAZING. I literally could have eaten a bucket of either. The only reason this place isn't a five star is because of the price. $16 is steep for watery au jus and a plain roll with meat on it. Would I come back? Yes definitely. Would I recommend, definitely. But I'll definitely stick with the weekday specials which by the way are a GREAT DEAL. meat platter, 2 sides, toast AND a drink for 11.99. if they butter grilled that roll and fixed up their au jus it would have been tastier in my opinion. Cheers to a surviving mom and pop place though.

  Decided to give this place a try despite the mediocre reviews on Yelp and I have to say, as always, Yelp is never wrong and extremely accurate..
  
  The food lacks the delicious taste of true BBQ but is good enough to eat on a empty stomach. The service is not the  best and our order was horribly messed up. The menu is also not specific to what's inside the burgers so it's really a surprise unless you ask specifically. Shortly after eating there both my husband's and my stomach hurt. Very disappointing. The Au Jus and baked beans were the only good part of the menu.

  Worst BBQ I have ever had in my life!!! Ordered a hot link sandwich and received a hot link burrito with cheese inside! Surprise, surprise ! Great customer service though, hence the 1 star!

  The food was not good. Servings small. Price hight for the quality, location, environment,and small sides servings. I will not be coming back or recommending this place.
